NOTICE: This event is will no longer be held at Moorpark College on April 24th due to the current public health measures put in place to stop the spread of the novel Coronavirus, COVID-19. We will still be awarding certificates this year. Thank you for your patience as we coordinate with Moorpark college to comply with the social distancing measures of the CDC, state and county.
Certificate of Merit Overview
Each year in the spring SWE San Buenaventura section hosts an annual achievement award presented to female students completing their junior year of high school. SWE Certificate of Merit Recipient(s) are chosen by school's math and science department faculty or school administration.
Please use the following as the selection basis:
All nominated students receive a certificate. Students, unable to attend the event, will receive certificate by mail via the faculty contact.
